Today's plan was to get in around 3hours at 140-150HR zone. We met up with some local riders which made the time fly by. The total ride time on my powertap was 6hr37min, 191km, and 169minutes in the above stated zone. It went well. I had a number of bars on the bike and we rode the last 15 miles really easy. The ride was a bit longer than expected. It was only to be a total of 5-6hours. Maybe Chuckie will lessen a workout now! :)
As soon as I got back I ate some good food and showered. It was then off to the pool for an easy 1550yard swim - mostly breast and backstroke.
Overall I felt pretty good all day. I made sure to drink lots and eat well throughout the ride. I am ready for bed real soon!
