A true race report (3 in fact!) are in need but here are the results for now... (race reports to come, I promise...!)
Boulder Peak Olympic Distance:
2nd place! :) I felt solid although my swim start messed me up. Another fastest bike split!
Vineman 70.3
5th place. :? I experimented with some heavy workload between these two races and it showed up in the bike. My first race without the fastest bike split. I learned what NOT to do between races: DO not climb up to 12k feet and ride for 5 hours at tempo!
Mount Evans Hill Climb: Colorado State Hill Climb Championships
2nd Cat 1-2 Pro Field! :) I LOVED this race. The race started at 7,000ft and ended at 14,130feet! 2hours 16 minutes of HURT!
More to come...!

An Update...
An Update that is long overdue!
For some reason the warm sunny days have kept me from updating my blog. But now that it's pouring rain here in Boulder, I have the morning to write and prepare myself for a brutal indoor ride with the Tour on in the background.
My last race was the Buffalo Springs 70.3 in Lubbock Texas. It was a great race with a few hills on the bike and run to mix it up. I had a solid swim or at least what I call worthy of solid! On the bike is where I was able to make gains and push the pace. The bike course was a mix of flat stretches with a few short rollers to break up the field. I was stoked to come into T2 with almost a 7-minute lead to Megali Tisserye. My running has been consistent since Wildflower but no real workouts have been done to outrun Megali. I knew this going into the race and wanted to see how long I could hold her off. It wasn't until mile 10 of the race when she caught me. I felt strong and kept her in my vision as best I could. Unfortunately she got smaller and smaller in the distance!
Since then I've been feeling great. I've had a few days of rest which have coincided well with the Tour! I'm gearing up for two races in two weeks: Boulder Peak and Vineman...
